Phone scams continue to surface in the PEC service area. Consumers have reported receiving calls informing them that their service will be disconnected unless an immediate payment is made over the phone.

When an electric bill is overdue, PEC members will receive a courtesy call stating that the bill is overdue and ask that you promptly contact our office during the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 731-645-3411 or 800-372-8258. The courtesy call is a recorded phone message and will not come from a live customer service representative of the Cooperative. PEC will never contact you and insist that you make an immediate payment over the phone.
